But believe us – when you describe your relationship with your Morsø in a few years’ time, it won’t be the design, cast iron or environment which will fuel your fondness. By then, your stove will have long become one of the best-loved items of furniture in your home. A good friend, you will share a special sense of inner peace and harmony. A trusty source of comfort, you will love it for its sound, look and warmth. And for the glow of happiness it has spread throughout the house year after year.

To choose a Morsø is, in other words, to make a choice for life.

Morsø 7948 on pedestal

The very large window section at the front and sides of the stove creates a stove, where the fire and flames can be seen just as well from anywhere in the room.

The wood-burning stove on a pedestal raises the combustion chamber, giving the spectacular side and front glass sections an elegant lightness.

Morsø 7943 high with log storage

Danish style and elegance shines through on the Morsø 7943 wood burning fireplace. This stove offers a 180 degree view of the flames. Three curved glass panels encase the fire. A powerful output of 12.5kW makes it ideal for rooms up to 150m². The wood store base also raises the height of the stove which adds impact to any room.

Morsø has teamed up with talented Danish designer Monica Ritterband to create a cast iron wood burning stove that is beautiful, innovative and practical. The smallest details on the 7943 are designed to delight – like the polished stainless steel handle, which is a dramatic contrast to the rich dark grey of the cast iron. Or the self-closing door, which slides into place with a soft click.

Morsø 1440

The Morsø 1440 is a incarnation of the classic Squirrel fireplace. Compact with traditional styling, the 1440 has an updated combustion system that delivers excellent efficiencies. With this system harmful particles and surplus gases are burnt off in the firebox, fulfilling the strictest environmental requirements.

The model comes with forged side motifs featuring Morsø’s iconic Squirrel logo. These panels act as a heat exchanger drawing cool air from the floor, the air is then heated before flowing naturally back into the room, which allows for a smaller side clearance of only 230mm to combustible materials. Constructed in cast iron the 1440 benefits from a small foot print size, making it ideal for smaller rooms, garden outbuilding’s, greenhouses, even a tiny house, or house boat.
